Dr. Sharandeep Singhota is an experienced physician with 10+ years of experience delivering results and implementing clinical transformation and quality improvement initiatives in Ambulatory Care and Acute Care Settings. Dr. Singhota has served in various roles such as Physician, Medical Officer, Medical Advisor, Clinical Consultant, Project Manager, and Assistant Lecturer.
Sharan practiced as an internal medicine physician in India for six years. Recent engagements include implementation of the practice transformation team and program modeled after the CMMI national Comprehensive Primary Care Plus Model (CPC+) for a clinically integrated network operating under the Total Cost of care Model (TCOC) for a large health care system in the State of Maryland, and consulting with a Children’s’ Hospital system on value-based care and innovative solutions to advance primary care, whole child health model, and develop a specialist strategy.
Experience includes EMR Implementation support, Physician Education & Training, Clinical/Practice Transformation, Risk Adjustment in VBC, Redesign and standardization of clinical and operational processes, and Optimization of policies and governance models, and strategic planning and implementation activities for value-based care and population health programs.
Educational credentials include a Master of Healthcare Administration from Texas State University, San Marcos, Texas and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS - Equivalent to MD in US) from Medical College, Amritsar, India.
